When does it make sense to buy reservations for Azure Managed Disks?

The first couple of things that we’ll note is that, Azure Premium SSD Managed Disk reservations are only available for P30 to P80 disks and that it only has a One Year term:
The discount is only 5% so the savings will generally not be very large.
Note that if your organization is getting an Azure discount that is larger than 5%, you will actually lose money when you reserve Azure Managed Disks.
