What is Azure Data Explorer?

Azure Data Explorer is a fully-managed big data analytics cloud platform and data-exploration service. It is designed to quickly analyze high volumes of data in near real-time. It can ingest structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from various sources

Let’s have a look at what the reservations look like for this service:

The options are pretty straight-forward, there are only two options (One Year term and Three Year term) and they apply globally (not to a specific region):
The One Year term gives us a 15% discount and the Three Year term gives us a 30% discount.

You can save on the Engine Instances and Data Management Instances items by reserving virtual machines.
