Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance reservations
What is Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance?
Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance is a service that enables customers to lift and shift their applications to Azure Arc data services with minimal application and database changes while maintaining data sovereignty.
Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance will run wherever the customer wants it to run (own datacenter, AWS, GCP, etc.). The data will stay where it is hosted.
It shares a common code base with the latest stable version of SQL Server and supports most of the standard SQL language.
Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance is deployed on Kubernetes as a containerized application.
It can be deployed with high availability and managed from a single point of control in Azure.
